Mission and Description of Organization:

The Northern Tier Athletic Foundation was originally founded as the Athens Soccer Foundation. Due to growing support and interest, the founders of the ASF decided to expand and serve the athletes and communities in Bradford County, PA.

The Northern Tier Athletic Foundation’s mission is to enhance and promote athletics in all sports in participating communities. We wish to provide safer playing conditions for athletes and community members of all races, age, and gender. The foundation will bring in outside groups for tournaments and events to promote community businesses and athletics. It is our wish to host clinics for athletes and coaches at all levels. We desire to host events to promote the area’s athletes who wish to play at the college level.

In addition to safe and modern training facilities, the foundation’s members would like to host college, high school and youth level tournaments for any sport. We are going to use these events and local sponsors to fund projects or purchases that are needed to keep facilities up-to-date and the athletes safe. Additionally, The NTAF will use tournaments to help promote and raise funds for other local nonprofit organizations.
